Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! We just wanted to take a quick moment to address a rumor that has been brought to our attention. Apparently floating around ‘tahn is gossip that at the end of 2020 we are closing. This is 100% NOT TRUE.
Are we Scrooge McDuck swimming in his money vault? No. It’s a pandemic for Pete’s sake. But we are doing okay. We are reinvesting money back into the business. We’ve bought new equipment, upgraded the carpet in the banquet room, and invested in online ordering/upgrading our website.
Who knows how this got started? I do know that I heard from x, that heard from y, that reliable sources A, B, C confirmed it. I know how quickly misinformation spreads. I want to nip this in the bud before it gets out of control and effects the business we’ve worked hard to make a fixture in the community. I am booking the banquet room into 2021 and beyond. We will be doing our annual gift card sale starting in November (buy $50, get a $10 bonus card for the new year). We’ve been here 22 years and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. We’ve rolled with every punch thrown at us over covid-19 and the global pandemic and are still standing.
So please, if you hear the rumor, stop it, and let them know that you heard from reliable sources yourself (the owners- Greg and Dana confirmed) that we aren’t going anywhere. When I was approached with this nonsense, I brought it to their attention so we could deal with it directly and head on.
